Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6-week travel assignment in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, particularly in cardiovascular intensive care, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, managing post-operative open-heart cases, and operating advanced monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Arizona or compact state).
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Strong experience with cardiac drips, ventilators, and critical care protocols.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Flexibility to float between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-level nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-operative open-heart surgeries.
• Operate and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage life-support systems (e.g., ventilators, IABP, CRRT).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Float between BHH and BBMC facilities as needed.
