Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing by coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

1. Responsibilities:
   • Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate nursing care in the assigned unit.
   • Analyze patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current status, to develop individualized care plans.
   • Prepare and administer medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
   • Reconcile medical records to maintain accuracy and comply with regulatory standards and policies.
   • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed to meet care goals.
   • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a Registered Nurse required; 1 year in a clinical specialty preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
