Job Title: RN - CSICU/CSU - NIGHTS

Employer: Talented Medical Solutions (Contract). Location: Tuscaloosa, AL. Work setting: In‑Office.

Position Description

Travel: CSICU/CSU RN. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Accepts 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide critical care for adult and geriatric patients on the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) and Cardiac Step‑Down Unit (CSU). Perform complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring and post‑operative recovery care. Maintain high levels of professional competency and support a patient‑centered approach to care. Participate in care across unit rotations as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience.
• Associated degree in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted). NURSYS.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA NIH, or Red Cross. Preferred: AHA PALS if working in pediatric unit.
• Experience: 2 years in the specialty field.

• Contract position: 36 hours per week (36 or 48 hours accepted). Rotational schedule includes nightly shifts.
• Work environment: Meditech EMR. Scrub color: Solid Navy. Parking available.
• Float cost center: Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals. No remote work. Patient‑facing: Yes.
• Projected schedule: 13 weeks, starting 5/26/2026, ending 8/23/2026. Start time 7:00 PM, end time 7:00 AM.
