Job summary

Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an RN to provide essential nursing care from intake through discharge in Gainesville, FL. You will assess patients, respond to condition changes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, supervision of LPNs/CNAs, accurate documentation, safe medication administration, and ongoing collaboration to promote recovery and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Florida required.

Responsibilities

• Gather, assess, and communicate critical patient information to support coordinated care.
• Monitor patient status and provide timely nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders safely and accurately.
• Lead and support shift operations, including nursing assignments and peer collaboration.
• Supervise and delegate care to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Complete accurate documentation and incident reports in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, stabilization, and recovery.
