Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit. The role requires 2 years of recent ICU experience and an active RN license with BLS certification. Work includes high-acuity patients, rapid decision-making, and strong teamwork within a 16-bed CCU.
Expect patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the CCU leadership to mentor staff and support continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Patient Population: Ventilators, Central Line/Aline Management, CRRT/Dialysis, Critical Drips, Post Cath Procedures, STEMI, Balloon Pumps, Neuro/Stroke, tPA, Unstable Post-Surgical, Impella, PCU/Tele/Med-Surg Downgrades
Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
Number of Beds: 16 beds
Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience; BSN

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
