Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Other : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
Associate Degree: or Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience
1 Year experience performing critical care interfacility transport. (Preferred)
3 Years experience in relevant adult, pediatric, or neonatal critical care area. (Preferred)

License/Certifications
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
PHRN - PA PreHospital RN Cert (Required) or EMT-P - Paramedic Certification (Required)
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
DRIVER - Drivers License (Preferred)
EMSVO - EMS Vehicle Operator (Preferred)
CFRN - Cert Flight Registered Nurse (Preferred)
CTRN - Cert Transport Reg Nurse (Preferred)
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Preferred)
APLS - Advanced Pediatric Life Suport (Preferred) or PALS - Pediatric Adv. Life Support (Preferred)
ITLS - Internl Trauma Life Support (Preferred) or PHTLS - PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport (Preferred)
