We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (Pediatric) for one of our clients in Torrance, CA.

Job Description

• Level 3 Pediatric Critical Care (Required)
  
  

Assignment Information

• The client Medical Center is currently in need of Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of two (2) years of Level 3 PICU experience as a Pediatric Critical Care RN providing care to critically ill or injured children ranging from newborns to adolescents who need round the clock monitoring.
• RNs are responsible for intense interventions, lifesaving treatments and complex care for patients with life-threatening illness or conditions.
• RNs may be floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as needed to care for acutely ill newborns with a variety of medical conditions such as recovering from surgery, and have a variety of other medical needs, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.

Remarks

• RNs will float within the assigned Facility; and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as needed; and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed. DHS Facilities include but not limited to LA General Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and Olive View UCLA Medical Center.
• Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a Level 3 PICU per diem assignment.
  
  

Required

• Certifications include active Registered Nurse license, BLS/PALS/NRP, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and
• Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations. .
