This job acts as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, and demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professional responsibility.

Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required: None.
Required: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
