Nurses with experience in areas such as Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care, Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters, and intervene appropriately
• Monitor and care for critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening patients
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans
