Job summary

LifeView Group's Crisis Stabilization Unit in Pensacola, FL seeks a registered nurse to provide advanced, client-centered psychiatric care within an acute inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, direct care, risk management, and collaboration with medical and non-medical staff; requires Florida RN license, CPR, CPI training, and background screening.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have a valid license as a Registered Nurse in Florida.

About Lakeview Center

Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) of Lakeview Center serves as an acute-care inpatient psychiatric facility for persons with mental health or co-occurring disorders from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. The CSU is 24-hour hour continuous operations unit that serves voluntary clients as well as individuals admitted to the facility under the Baker Act or Marchman Act. The unit serves individuals 18 years of age and older. Services are designed and implemented to support the recovery, health or well-being of the persons or families served, to reduce symptoms, or needs, and to build resilience and restore, or improve functioning.

Overview

Primary duty is the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge (License), and to use such advanced knowledge to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing the highest quality client-centered therapeutic services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients. Must also use such advanced knowledge and experience to serve as a consultant and mentor to other medical/non-medical direct care employees. This position is entrusted with the highest level of responsibility and insight in treating clients and ensuring services are provided and documented in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, in addition to LCI and division standards. Based on the knowledge and degree required, this position will serve as a lead position in the provision of direct care. Services include but are not limited to, assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services using specialized knowledge and skills and management of client risk and safety.

Requirements:

Compensation:

Base pay ranges from $27.40 - $33.55 an hour based on experience with an additional supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) for the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Shift differential pay $6.00 - $10.00 per hour when applicable.
