Job summary

Community Care Network is seeking a Psychiatric Services Nurse (RN) to join our CSID Residential Program in Rutland, VT. This role provides nursing assessments, medication management, and clinical support within a five-bed crisis stabilization setting.

You will train and supervise residential staff, collaborate with the Medical Director and Residential Manager, and ensure compliance with regulations. A Vermont RN license and 2+ years of nursing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; bachelor's preferred.
• Valid Vermont State Nursing License.
• RN credential and 2+ years nursing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification for Health Care Professionals.
• Knowledge of psychiatric clinical issues and medications.
• Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) and document accurately.
• Valid driver's license and transportation.
• Criminal history background check after hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and reassessments per facility rules.
• Provide nursing oversight to CSID residents and manage medications.
• Train and supervise non-licensed staff in medication delegation.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and Residential Manager for care.
• Enter and audit medical and medication information in EHR/eMAR.
• Assist with admissions and coordinate outside medical appointments.
