Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team in Massachusetts. You will provide specialized nursing care in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program serving as a less restrictive alternative to inpatient hospitalization.

The CCS unit features a newly renovated 10-bed setting; typical stays range from 3 to 5 days, with flexibility per individual needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
• One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
• Familiarity with recovery-oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document client's self-administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices
• Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed
• Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being
• Deliver strength-based, solution-focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans
• Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care
