Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a registered nurse for correctional health in North Carolina. The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, and medication administration within a secure facility.

You'll triage emergencies, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with physicians while supervising support staff. A valid NC RN license and CPR/BLS are required; ACLS is preferred for advanced care situations.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional healthcare

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.

Shift: 12 Hours, 10:00am-10:30pm

Description:

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide critical interventions.Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other staff as appropriate.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare practices.Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional environment.

Qualifications:
