Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Registered Nurses (RN) to work in the medical department at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in Mcelhattan, PA.

This full-time evening shift position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability options, generous PTO, a 401k with match, and a flexible spending account.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Clinical decision-making ability.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to function independently and demonstrating clinical competency.
• Ability to gain trust of patients and build a working relationship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with nursing standards and treatment plans.
• Coordinate and conduct monthly health care staff meetings as assigned.
• Provide health counseling to inmates/patients and perform sick calls.
• Document symptoms, progress, and maintain records of controlled substances and sharps.
