What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Identify clinical, financial, and psychosocial needs of patients and provide leadership to develop individualized care plans
- Ensure essential information is documented and available for the revenue cycle team and other disciplines
- Perform admission and concurrent reviews, applying clinical guidelines to identify potential third-party denials
- Collaborate with physicians to implement medical and multidisciplinary plans of care
- Maintain accurate case records and document in patients’ medical records according to facility standards
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor\'s degree in nursing preferred
- Applicable state RN licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers per facility requirements
- Related nursing experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
