Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Applicable state RN licensure required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers per facility requirements.
  • Related nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify clinical, financial, and psychosocial needs of patients and develop individualized care plans.
  • Ensure information is documented for the revenue cycle team and other disciplines.
  • Perform admission and concurrent reviews, applying clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians to implement medical and multidisciplinary care plans.
  • Maintain accurate case records according to facility standards.
