LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks an RN Coordinator – Perioperative to coordinate operating room tasks, scheduling, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff.
Requirements: current RN license in Louisiana, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, CNOR/CPN preferred within two years, 2 years OR experience (3–5 years preferred), pediatric care competency.

The RN Coordinator Perioperative coordinates the tasks and processes in the surgical functions. These functions may include but not limited to: Quality Control, Block Scheduling of Operating Rooms and Surgeons. Works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Nurse Anesthetists, Surgical Technologists, other RNs, and Nurse Practitioners before, during, and after surgeries. QUALIFICATIONS Experience and Training 2 years experience in surgery (required) 3-5 years experience in surgery preferred Previous experience in Perioperative Service Line (required) Previous experience precepting all teams members throughout the perioperative service lines (required) Training and competency in the care of pediatric patients (required)
Required: Current RN license to practice in Louisiana Certification Name: CNOR or CPN Required within two years of transferring into the role Education Required minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
