Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Transplant Coordinator (RN) to coordinate all aspects of care for heart transplant recipients and donors. You will participate in medical, administrative, research and teaching duties as part of the multi-disciplinary transplant team.

Job Description
Transplant Coordinators coordinate all aspects of care for both transplant recipients and donors. A coordinator participates in medical, administrative, research and teaching duties. The coordinator is an active member of the multi-disciplinary transplant team. This RN will be working with the Heart Failure and Advanced Heart Failure team in addition to working with LVAD and heart transplant patients

Location:
Detroit
Hours:
630AM-5PM, 4- 10-hour shifts. No weekends or on-call requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Organizational and Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patient care personnel and relate to the patients and their families.
