Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an RN Coordinator for our Cardiology team in Honolulu. You will liaise between patients, providers, and the care team, coordinating referrals, testing, and appointments for aortic stenosis and TAVR cases.

The role requires an active Hawaii RN license, 3+ years in relevant nursing areas, and EMR documentation competency. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with pay of 54–67/hour; start date September 2026.

Qualifications

• Active Hawai‘i RN license required.
• ADN or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS may be obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Minimum three (3) years Pediatric, OB/GYN, or Adult Medicine nursing experience.
• ICU, CCU, Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, Cardiology Clinic, or Structural Heart experience preferred.
• Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year).
• Vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and medical records for aortic stenosis and TAVR procedures.
• Coordinate patient evaluations, appointments, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to facilitate timely patient care.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding appointments, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Assist in identifying patients who meet clinical criteria for specialty cardiac procedures.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients throughout the care journey.
