Job summary

Alamo Franchise Services, LLC is seeking an experienced RN Coordinator to support a Cardiology team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role focuses on coordinating referrals, evaluating patient records for eligibility, and guiding patients through testing and appointments within the care continuum.

You will liaise between patients, providers, and the care team, ensuring timely care and accurate EMR documentation. This position requires an active Hawai‘i RN license and relevant cardiology/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active Hawai‘i RN license.
• ADN or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS may be obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Minimum three (3) years Pediatric, OB/GYN, or Adult Medicine nursing experience.
• ICU, CCU, Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, Cardiology Clinic, or Structural Heart experience preferred.
• Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year).
• N95 Fit Test.
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU.

Responsibilities

• Review patient referrals and medical records for aortic stenosis and TAVR procedures.
• Coordinate patient evaluations, appointments, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to facilitate timely patient care.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding appointments, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Assist in identifying patients who meet clinical criteria for specialty cardiac procedures.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients throughout the care journey.

Overview

Are you an experienced Cardiac, ICU, or CCU RN looking to transition from bedside nursing into a coordinator role?
