Job summary

Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo, IA, is hiring an RN to provide direct nursing care in a 176-bed skilled nursing environment. Full-time days, 6AM-2PM, with competitive wage and shift differentials.

Join Care Initiatives’ team and contribute to resident safety, regulatory compliance, and compassionate care. Must hold Iowa RN license (or active license) and CPR certification. Help drive quality outcomes while supporting interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa or ability to activate.
Current CPR Certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
Strong commitment to helping others with empathy, respect and discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
