Job summary

Blue Palms Health & Rehab Center of DeLand is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our care team. The successful candidates will assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The role emphasizes high-quality bedside care, patient safety, and education for patients and families. Florida RN licensure, at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, and strong communication skills are required;

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing procedures, and healthcare protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• CPR and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and side effects.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless healthcare delivery.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions or emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with facility policy and procedures and healthcare regulations to promote patient safety.
