Job summary

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide direct patient care on the assigned unit, following established policies and procedures and ensuring patient safety.

You will assess needs, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in discharge planning, and educate patients and families. Must hold ND RN license, BLS, AHA, and participate in RN Residency if required.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required or must be obtained prior to start.
• Participation in RN Residency Cohort is considered.
• Ability to read, write and speak proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following policies and protocols.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Assess and plan patient care, including discharge planning.
