Job summary

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform and document assessments, support health histories, assist with admission, discharge planning and patient education.

This role works within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, communicate progress, and ensure timely nursing interventions; requires current LPN license and BLS certification within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Dakota or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Unencumbered nursing license prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document nursing assessments appropriate to licensure.
• Assist in admission, discharge planning, and patient education.
• Communicate patient progress and coordinate with the care team.
• Support and implement the care plan as directed by licensed practitioners.
