Job summary

Westmoreland Care & Rehab Center in Oakdale, TN is seeking an experienced RN to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role offers a full-time schedule, a sign-on bonus, and a competitive pay rate up to $49.25/hr. Experience in long-term care and EHR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during assigned shift.
• Monitor residents' condition and notify physician of changes.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory surveys.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
