Job summary
Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Hilltop, West Virginia, to deliver high-quality nursing care under supervision, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team. The RN will develop and implement care plans, monitor outcomes, and ensure patient and family satisfaction, while adhering to state regulations.
Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and clinical leadership within the care team.
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in long-term or geriatric care preferred, strong clinical foundations welcome.
- Proficient in English reading, writing and speaking for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate care.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs in alignment with state practice acts.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in PCC and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
