Job summary

Veterans Health Administration’s Community Living Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise direct patient care in a high-quality environment. The RN will coordinate care education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the continuum of care.

This position supports EDRP benefits and may include relocation incentives; a comprehensive benefits package and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in any US state or DC.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN/CCNE) and eligible for state licensure.
• Bridge program pathway to licensure considered where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Community Living Center (CLC).
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and supervise licensed practical staff.
• Lead nursing education, orientation, competencies, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and reflect RUG scoring with MDS coordination.
