Job summary

Miami Jewish Health seeks an experienced RN for its Florida PACE Centers. Under the supervision of the clinic manager RN and medical director, you will provide nursing care to all enrolled participants, developing care plans and coordinating with IDT.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience with frail/elderly populations; bilingual English/Spanish helpful. The position is on-site in Fort Lauderdale with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license (FL) required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• RN with at least 1 year of experience, or LPN with 3+ years.
• Experience with frail/elderly populations preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the clinic manager RN and medical director of FLORIDA PACE CENTERS, provides nursing care to all persons enrolled in the program.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Experience

• At least 1 year of RN or 3 years of LPN required
• Minimum one-year experience working with a frail/elderly population

Licenses/Certifications

• Current RN license by the Florida State Board of Nursing
• Valid Florida Driver’s License & Proof of Insurance
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred

Abilities Required

• Bilingual English/Spanish, knowledge of Creole a plus
• Proven clinical leadership
• Ability to get along with others in an interdisciplinary team environment

• Normal working condition with adequate lighting and ventilation
• Ability to assist transferring patients and ambulation which may involve lifting, pushing, and pulling of patients from 50-150 pounds
