Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
• ACLS certification within 1 year and BLS within 30 days.
• Educational background in nursing with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical equipment, and patient safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Implementing and adjusting interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Documenting patient progress, completing required records, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Sharing clinical knowledge and promoting patient and staff safety.
• Performing bedside lab testing and coordinating interdisciplinary care.
• Prioritizing work based on patient needs, collaborating with team members, and delegating tasks appropriately.
• Providing goal-focused shift reports and advocating for patients with physicians.
• Utilizing effective communication, adapting teaching strategies to patient needs, and considering cultural factors.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with policies, participating in quality improvement, and promoting patient satisfaction.
• Identifying practice issues, implementing improvements, and actively contributing to team and unit initiatives.
