Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions in partnership with management. The CNC monitors nursing care and serves as a resource for staff, supporting an exceptional patient experience.

You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, assist with admissions/discharges, support improved outcomes, and provide coaching and scheduling support as needed.

Qualifications

• RN required.
• BCLS certification obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS certification obtained within 90 days of start date.
• 2 years of RN experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• 2 years of RN experience is required
