John Muir Health is seeking a staff RN for the Endoscopy Unit in a per diem capacity. The RN will plan, delegate, and coordinate the care of a group of patients during a designated time, utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, 6 months acute care experience preferred, and 2000 Endoscopy hours within the last 3 years.

• Meet competency standards for endoscopic procedures and other tests in the Endoscopy Unit.

The staff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act, Title 22, and Title 16. The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required

Experience:

• 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care Preferred
• 2000 hours Nursing - Endoscopy Must be Obtained within last 3 years - Core Requirement

Certifications/Licensures:

• RN - Registered Nurse - Current California License Required
• BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification Required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
• Rhythm Recognition and Treatment Exam - Must Pass Required
• Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test - Internal Candidates Must Pass Prior to Applying for Position (must be proctored in Human Resources) - Required

Variable start time 0800-1000

Work Shift:

08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$85.34 - $116.28

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
