Job summary

Harris Health System is seeking a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide clinically competent nursing care within its Houston, Texas facilities. The NCII independently manages common patient problems in the assigned area, applying standards and clinical algorithms. The RN must be licensed in Texas and able to work weekends and on-call shifts.

Bilingual skills are preferred by the team. The candidate should hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) or a nursing diploma and have at least 1

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse; Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• Work Experience: One (1) year full time RN experience or completion of GN Program.
• Language Skills: Bilingual Skills Preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in assigned clinical area using standard standards and algorithms.
• Recognize when he/she needs assistance and seek appropriate resources.
