University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Team Manager for the Telemetry 4 Red unit in Kansas City, MO. This leadership role directs frontline operations, mentors staff, and partners with the Director to uphold nursing standards.

You will lead a team on a 24/7 inpatient unit, ensuring patient safety, quality, and service excellence while fostering a culture of compassionate care and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent (ADN + years of relevant experience).
• At least two (2) years of nursing experience or demonstrated proficiency in clinical and leadership skills.
• Missouri nursing license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current certifications per department requirements.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate front-line operations for assigned inpatient unit(s) 24/7.
• Support the Director in maintaining nursing standards and promoting competent practice among your team.
• Champion quality, safe patient care and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
• Foster a culture of excellent customer service, evidence-based practice, and resource stewardship.
• Be the go-to person for supporting personnel needs, guiding your team with care and leadership.
