Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, seeks a compassionate RN to join the Telemetry unit on a part-time basis (2 days/week, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), totaling 24 hours per week. You will assess patients, plan and deliver nursing care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Missouri RN license, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• For PRN: at least one year of medical/surgical experience OR one year of prior experience in the specialty area.
• Preferred: BSN or RN specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
