Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for the weekend night shift. You will oversee staffing, ensure safe patient care, and collaborate with physicians and administration to drive process improvements.

This role emphasizes servant leadership, mentorship, and accountability within a 36‑hour weekly schedule. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hospital nursing, Missouri RN licensure (or compact), and a BSN (preferred) with a strong ability to lead change and inspire teams

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN license in Missouri or compact license.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• BSN preferred; additional state licensure or specialty certifications welcome.
• Weekend night schedule and leadership responsibilities expected.

Clinical Supervisor is involved in the evaluation process in collaboration with the Clinical Manager as directed.

Position Details:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Supervisor-RN-Weekend

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Night Shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
