Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor-RN for the Weekend shift at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality patient care, ensuring staffing adequacy, and coordinating with the Staffing Office for patient flow and bed management.

The RN will lead by example, promote change, and mentor staff while aligning care with Mercy standards, mission, and values. Weekend schedule is 40 hours weekly, Day Shift.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Ensure appropriate staffing to support patient care needs.
• Collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and staff to improve processes across the continuum.
• Monitor patient flow and bed management in coordination with Staffing Office.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to engage coworkers in improvement efforts.

Clinical Supervisor is involved in the evaluation process in collaboration with the Clinical Manager as directed.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:Associate Degree in NursingNursing DiplomaBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: BSN preferred

Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred

Experience: Prior management experience - experience within change management
