RN Clinical Supervisor Emergency Department FT Nights

Position Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals. They are a designated leader responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and needs of the patient population. A focus on 100% positive behavior is promoted at all times.

Qualifications:

Education, Licensure, and Certifications:

  • Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence. If licensed in another Compact state, apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License within 30 days.
  • BLS required upon hire.
  • PALS, ACLS, and CPI required within orientation.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Relevant mandatory certifications for the department within orientation period.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years ED experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Certifications as required by the designated unit.
