Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to support administrative and clinical operations on Day shift. You will work with the unit Director/Manager to develop plans, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality patient care across the department.

The role requires an active RN license, a BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS credentials with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience including supervisory exposure. Join a recognized hospital with strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative responsibility for department service functions and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement activities.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians and administration in writing and verbally.
• Assumes administrative scope in absence of Director/Manager; ensures efficient department operations.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice.
