Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibility for the department services and work with the unit Director and/or Manager.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate personnel during shifts to ensure efficient operations and proper use of time and equipment.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice and adjust the plan of care as required.
