Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our acute care team on a full-time night shift. The role offers full benefits, potential overtime, and flexibility to cover various shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer 1 year FT or 3 years PT experience in acute care.
• BLS current upon hire.
• ACLS, and/or required specialty training or completion within 3 months.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients per facility policies.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Recognizes signs of stroke and activates stroke alert.
• Assists ICU nurse with telemedicine consult and physician examination/evaluation.
• Performs NIHSS and bedside swallow assessments; assists with Endovascular prep.
• Care for stroke patients on the unit; maintains stroke knowledge with annual training.
