Job summary

NursePower is seeking a compassionate RN to serve as Clinical Supervisor for pediatric home health in Illinois. This role conducts supervisory visits, performs assessments, ensures care plans are followed, supports field staff, and promotes high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of pediatric nursing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel across the service area to coordinate care and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area to conduct supervisory visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine supervisory visits for pediatric home health patients in accordance with state and payer requirements.
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments as required.
• Evaluate nursing staff performance and provide clinical guidance, education, and mentorship.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and agency policies.
• Review patient documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify changes in patient condition and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care plan development and updates.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Position Summary

NursePower is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible for conducting supervisory visits, performing assessments, ensuring compliance with physician orders and care plans, supporting field staff, and promoting high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate is passionate about pediatric nursing, works independently, and has strong clinical skills.
