You will assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain and sedation, interpret vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in status. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe handoffs and high-quality outcomes.

As an RN Clinical Staff in the PACU at MLK Community Hospital, you provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients in a modern, mission-driven safety-net hospital. You will assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain and sedation, interpret vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in status. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe handoffs and high-quality outcomes, while documenting care in the EHR and educating patients and families with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
