Job summary

UNC Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the newly developed Central Staffing Office/Float Pool in North Carolina. Per diem, part-time, and full-time positions are available, with a Nurse Commitment Incentive for full-time roles.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience. Location coverage includes UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, UNC Hillsborough, UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, and UNC Health Rex in Holly Spring.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience.
• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• Ability to rotate across multiple clinical units and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care in Acute Care (Med-Surg, ED Holding) and related areas.
• Support Critical Care and Emergency Department needs as part of the float pool.
• Adjust to flexible scheduling and perform duties across UNC Health campuses.

UNC Health has per diem, part-time and full-time opportunities available for our newly developed Central Staffing Office (internal staffing pool). Full-time positions are eligible for our Nurse Commitment Incentive Program! For these roles, we’re seeking nurses with at least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience.

Location: Will provide support for UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, UNC Hillsborough, UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and UNC Health Rex in Holly Spring
