Job summary

UNC Health is seeking experienced registered nurses to join the Central Staffing Office/Float Pool, providing support across UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Rex Raleigh and Holly Springs. Full-time, part-time and per diem roles available.

Nurses with at least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience will help cover Acute Care, Critical Care, and Emergency Department areas, enjoying flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• At least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience.
• Experience in acute care, critical care or ED settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in Acute Care (Med-Surg & ED Holding), Critical Care and ED.
• Support UNC Medical Center and related campuses through Central Staffing Office/Float Pool.
• Maintain flexible scheduling and adapt staffing across shifts as needed.

UNC Health has per diem, part-time and full-time opportunities available for our newly developed Central Staffing Office (internal staffing pool). Full-time positions are eligible for our Nurse Commitment Incentive Program! For these roles, we’re seeking nurses with at least 3 years of inpatient hospital experience.

Location: Will provide support for UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, UNC Hillsborough, UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and UNC Health Rex in Holly Spring

Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and per diem available. All shifts available. Per diem is 1 shift per week. Flexible scheduling options are available.
