Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions. You will partner with management to monitor nursing care, act as a resource for staff, and uphold an exceptional patient experience.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes, assist with admissions and discharges, coach staff, and support scheduling and staffing needs as part of a collaborative leadership team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• ACLS/BLS within specified timelines.
• PALS certification within 30 days.
• Trauma nursing certification or related degree required within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree completion as eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Care After Resuscitatio, or Bachelors Degree, or Doctorate Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• No Travel Required
