HCA Florida Park West Emergency is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions across shifts. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per policies, serving as a resource and modeling the organization’s values to support exceptional patient experiences.

The role involves admissions/discharges, quality assessments, collaboration with managers, and execution of current nursing strategies such as hourly rounds.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with a Registered Nurse Diploma or an Associate Degree.
• ACLS, BLS, NCI, and PALS within required timelines.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions and discharges to improve throughput and care quality.
• Monitors patient care quality in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with experts to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies like hourly rounds to boost engagement.
• Provides input on interviewing, staffing, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor planning.
• Supports inventory control and supplies management.
