Job summary

Reston Hospital Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care per policy and acts as a resource for staff to ensure an excellent patient experience.

You will assist with admissions/discharges, collaborate with experts to improve outcomes, and provide coaching to staff to boost performance and engagement. This is a full-time night position.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) with active license.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• Full-time night position.
• At least 1 year med/surgical and 1 year charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership partners.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Registered Nurse Diploma

• must have a year of medica/surgical and 1 year of charge nurse experience
