Reston Hospital Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Immediate Care Unit in Reston, VA. The CNC delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions in partnership with the management team.

You will support admission and discharge processes, guide staff, provide coaching, and assist with scheduling to maintain an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse licensing required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• Full-time night position.
• Minimum one year med/surgical experience and one year as charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• full-time night position
• must have a year of medica/surgical and 1 year of charge nurse experience
