Qualifications

• Preferably one year's management experience.
• BSN or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program; Certification in specialty area preferred.
• Current BLS card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the operational management of his/her designated unit(s). Implicit in this statement is indicated responsibility for the supervision, direction, and support of the nursing staff on that unit. Demonstrates Leadership ability and serves as a role model for clinical practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Satisfactory work experience, demonstrating nursing knowledge and skill, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of nursing supervision.

Preferably one year's management experience.

B.S.N. or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program; Certification in specialty area preferred.

Current BLS card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of employees, and monitor the environment.

• Must be able to talk and hear to converse with others, in person, and over the telephone.
• Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete necessary work schedule.
• Able to work in latex burdened environment.
