Job summary

Amedisys in Springfield, MO is seeking an RN Clinical Manager to guide our home health team. You will mentor a great group, maintain high care standards, and transition into a managerial role with a daytime schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities include advising on staff hiring, ensuring patient care quality, organizing clinical operations, reviewing service requests, overseeing scheduling and payor verification, and supporting staff training.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state(s) of assignment.
• 1 year RN clinical experience in home health or hospice.
• 1 year RN management experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Recommend staff employment decisions to the director of operations.
• Ensure overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organize clinical operations for the care center.
• Review requests for services and determine patient eligibility/suitability for home care services.
• Oversee scheduling and payor verification requirements.
• Review documentation of staff and resolve missing or untimely documentation.
• Assist clinicians in establishing patient goals and Plan of Care.
• Evaluate patient needs and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Participate in the on-call process.
• Support staff training for quality care and fiscal responsibility.
• Address patient/family/physician concerns.
