UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Service Coordination Manager, RN in El Paso, TX. This role provides oversight of service coordination staff and ensures timely delivery of non-waiver and waiver services for Star+Plus members.

The position offers remote flexibility for those within commutable distance and supports a strong care coordination team. You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff; drive process improvements; ensure compliance with HHSC, TDI, UMCC and URAC; and lead performance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Texas.
• 7+ years of healthcare experience; 2+ years in managed care.
• 3+ years in management or supervision in managed care.
• Hands-on STAR+PLUS and LTSS operations experience.
• Experience with electronic charting and review.
• Proficient in Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel locally up to 40%.
• Driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight of service coordination staff.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings representing service coordination needs.
• Facilitate orientation and training of service coordination staff.
• Establish performance goals for service coordinators.
• Provide ongoing training to achieve performance standards.
• Identify problems and barriers and revise plans accordingly.
• Provide analysis and reporting to ensure compliance with HHSC, TDI, UMCC and URAC.
• Manage field staff productivity, member satisfaction and outcomes.
• Conduct ride-alongs and telephonic audits for staff evaluation.
• Develop and maintain corrective action plans.
